The program is ideal for those that are new to the sport or have up to 2 years of experience.
The first few weeks will be mostly instruction with fun drills to help develop the skills. During the remaining weeks, there will be more game play involved, as well as some additional instruction and analysis.
The agenda will cover things that will help you to understand and enjoy this fun sport of curling.
Some of the main topics covered include:
- The fundamentals of a good delivery
- Basic rules & etiquette
- Sweeping
- Introduction to strategy
- Team roles & responsibilities
- Weight judgment
Our Winter 2025 Saturday Instructional Program will be held on the following dates:
- February 1, 8, 15, 22
- March 1, 8, 15, 29
- April 12
Note: Attendance at all sessions is not a requirement but is highly recommended. The April 12 date will be an optional additional session of game play or makeup day in case of unanticipated schedule interruption.
